The monthly report, which shows the quantity of active Android products are running on each version with the software, demonstrates Lollipop is growing significantly to 9.7 percent of installs, up from 5.4 % last month. KitKat dropped subtly to 39.8 percent from 41.4 %, while Jelly Bean transferred to 39.2 percent from 40.7.
Android 2.2 Froyo is reaching a critically-low install percentage, now at only 0.3 %, and inside a handful of months don't be surprised it going to the magical point of 0.one percent where it's not a longer considered significant enough being included in the report.
The rise in Lollipop isn't that surprising, searching for high-profile devices just like the Galaxy S5 and LG G3 have but completed their software update roll-outs and much more popular products are being sold each day with Lollipop re-loaded. Next month will mark a rise over ten percent of all active Android devices located on the latest version, that will be a big milestone.
